Chaddick Foundation Welcome Garden, planted in Summer 2018, welcomes guests to Pritzker Family Children’s Zoo with a showcase of native perennials. Shade-tolerant plants thrive beneath towering pine trees, whose fallen needles create a natural mulch, although sunshine does peak through the trees to create a sunny south end of the garden bed.
