Houston Family Play Treehouse at Pritzker Family Children’s Zoo

The Houston Family Play Treehouse is an immersive, sensory, and tactile play space designed for exploration by kids of all abilities. The treehouse features a wheelchair-accessible tunnel and enough space for people who use white canes, crutches, and other supports. The entire structure has tactile elements for all children, including those who are blind or have low vision—enabling everyone to have a great time and burn some energy through play.

Endangered Species Carousel

The Endangered Species Carousel is a Chicago landmark adorned with 48 intricately hand-carved and hand-painted replicas of threatened animal species, plus two chariots. Both the young and the young-at-heart will enjoy these colorful models of baby gorillas, zebras, giraffes, and more.

Lionel Train Adventure

Enjoy a ride on Lionel Train Adventure, named for the iconic train manufacturer. This beautifully crafted attraction is a trackless, 28-passenger train that crosses over a quaint country bridge and winds past forest and canyon scenery before returning to a red-brick station. It features passenger cars, a coal car, and a wheelchair-accessible caboose.
