All rides and attractions are open during zoo hours, weather permitting, unless otherwise stated. Tickets cost $4 for 1 ticket, $36 for 10 tickets, or $69 for 20 tickets.
Endangered Species Carousel

The Endangered Species Carousel is a Chicago landmark adorned with 48 intricately hand-carved and beautifully hand-painted replicas of threatened animal species, plus two chariots. Both the young and the young-at-heart will enjoy these colorful models of baby gorillas, zebras, wild dogs, and more.
Lionel Train Adventure

Enjoy a ride on the Lionel Train Adventure, named for the iconic train manufacturer. This beautifully crafted attraction is a trackless, 28-passenger train that crosses over a quaint country bridge and winds past forest and canyon scenery before returning to a redbrick station. It features passenger cars, a coal car, and a wheelchair-accessible caboose.
Gorilla Trek – A Virtual Reality Experience

Venture deep into the forest with world-renowned primatologist Dr. Tara Stoinski as she ascends 10,000 feet through dense and unforgiving Volcanoes National Park during this virtual reality experience. Also showing Shark Drive, Swimming with Humpbacks, and The Great Migration.
Throughout the zoo, enjoy pop-up activities like face painting, caricatures and photo booths!
